BRENDON WILSON
Associate Pastor / Youth Pastor

Hi, I'm Brendon and I'm the Associate Pastor of Christ Life Church and also the Youth Pastor. I am primarily responsible for the overall leadership of the Youth Ministry and for the teaching on rotation with Pastor Phil. I also work with all church communications and marketing, plus Danielle, my wife and I oversee all Life Groups in the Church. I have a passion to see lives changed through the power of God.

BASIC STUFF:
My wife Danielle and I moved here in late 2006 to be a part of Christ Life Church. We married in 2004 and spent the last 3 years in New York. We met when her dad, Pastor Phil hired me as the Youth Pastor I ended up marrying his daughter. We have a Shih Tzu named Max and Danielle gave birth to Daniel Mark on August 3rd 2007.

I moved to Long Island, New York in 2000 to work with Solid Rock Ministry in Huntington. Prior to that I worked with Youth for Christ, Southern Africa for three years as a missionary in Southern and Central Africa. I was born in Zimbabwe, Africa and have lived in South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, and Botswana. All countries in Southern Africa. My mom is a teacher and dad is a farmer.

Interests and Favorites:

• Places: New York obviously, Jones Beach Long Island, Huntington Village for their great food! South Africa, Caribbean Islands.
• What's on your iPod: Mark Driscoll from Mars Hill Church.
• Books: Anything on Leadership or Preaching/Theology. Current read is a 'Resilient Life' by Gordon McDonald
• What do you TiVo: American Idol for my wife. The Apprentice not so good this season, 24.
• Sport Teams: I'll go with The Yankees, but saw more Mets games while in New York now I'll have to root for the Diamondbacks.
• Movies: "Shawshank Redemption" - still the best movie every made.
• Hobbies: Spending time with my wife, mountain biking and dirt bike riding.
• Dislikes: Long lines.
• Odd Facts: Been chased by an Elephant in Africa.
